2026 Roadmap
This document provides details of Kasplex's future upgrade aims at aligning with Kaspa's design with zk_opcode.
2026 Q1
March - SGX prover testnet
Provide a pre-ZK transition scheme that avoids genesis rebuilds or full historical replay when verifying L2 state transitions and the corresponding L1 sequencing commitments for transactions inside L2 blocks.
2026 Q2
April - SGX prover mainnet Launch
May/June - RETH supports & ZK prover testnet
Develop a Kaspa zk-opcodes compatible prover system
2026 Q3/Q4
July- Kaspa VSPC2 supports
Leveraging Kaspa's VSPC2 feature to reduce dependency on historical Kaspa data and handle reorgs more efficiently.
Aug - GETH upgrades to the latest version
Upgrade the EVM to the Glamsterdam version to support Ethereum's latest features.
Sep - Support L1 settlement via ZK covenant rollup
Finalize the migration from SGX-based validation to full ZK proofs. Fully eliminate historical data dependency during node reconstruction and realize complete L2 state settlement on Kaspa L1.
